We were fortunate to participate in the release of baby sea turtles the evening of January 24th in Puerto Vallarta while visiting our daughter and her family.
Each morning a gentleman searches for baby sea turtles who have hatched but not made their way into the ocean by daylight. He collects them and releases them at dusk the same day.

We were able to capture a few minutes of video with Addison releasing the baby turtles. It is really cute. Click on DropBox link to

It was a wonderful experience. We hope these efforts help more sea turtles survive. We were told only 1 in 1,000 make it to maturity.
